"Thank you for your dedication to a family oriented studio that has given my girls more than dance technique. They've grown so much socially & emotionally and have made lifetime friends. Thanks for being the catalyst!" - From one of our Moms.
"Thank you for being an amazing teacher. I really appreciate all the support & advice you have given me to help me become a better dancer. It is soooo fun!" - From one of our students.
Since 1969, our mission at the Dance Workshop has been to instruct dance in a disciplined, yet joyful way. We strive to provide a happy, healthy, and positive learning environment for our students. Young children, who are new to dance, can take a 1-hour class of basic Ballet, Tumbling, and Tap or a Tiny Tots class (for little ones). Also, they can take a Hip Hop class. As students get older, we offer 1-hour classes in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, and Performing Groups. Our teachers are super nice and want you to learn to dance! We are taking enrollments for all classes, so please call or email.
We have viewing windows to classrooms and free wi-fi access.
Did you know that we have plenty of table space here at the studio for your kids to do their homework?!
The first class for newly enrolled students is complimentary, no obligation! Our floors are “raised & cushioned”, designed especially for jumping & leaping. We are proud of our commitment to a well-organized facility and our efforts to provide personal attention in a positive atmosphere. Our instructors are well qualified, knowledgeable and sincerely enjoy teaching dance. Please, come see for yourself.
WELCOME ALL! Call or email us your preferred day/time/age/style and we can start to form a class for you.
We have some great groups using our studio to rehearse-"Lyons Irish Dance", "Mahana Polynesian", & "Tago Le Pasefika" Polynesian. Check out their fun classes. Other groups that have rehearsed in our dance space are: Hok & Dominic from "MTV's America's Best Dance Crew"; Lacey Schwimmer from "So You Think You Can Dance" & "Dancing With The Stars"; dancer & singer, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle from "Camp Rock" & "Fame"; "Yamaha School of Music" Singing Workshops; Chinese Classical Dance Group- "Rainbow Fantasy"; and City Recreation Classes. The wonderful photographer, Rick Elias, has taken photos here for the "I Want To Be A Ballerina" calendar, which featured our teacher, Miss Cari & her daughter, Devyn. Call if you're interested in using our space to rehearse or for photography.
Hope to see you soon, Linda Buell (Co-Director), Cari Buell Patri (Co-Director) & Staff
